A lot of no-glue slime recipes just do not work very well. By using a peel-off facemask or similar beauty product, you can create Slime Shop quality slimes in the comfort of your own home.

Whatever you use, it must contain PVA in the ingredient list. PVA is a vinyl polymer that is typically used in paints and adhesives. It is what reacts with the activator to create the consistency we know as slime. Watch my video below or follow along with the steps included in this tutorial to make this no-glue slime.

In this blog post, we’ll explore a fascinating approach to making butter slime without glue, using a surprising ingredient: peel-off face mask.

Step 1: Prepare the Peel-Off Face Mask

To begin, select your desired peel-off face mask. The color and scent of the mask will determine the appearance and fragrance of your slime, so choose one that appeals to you. Squeeze an appropriate amount of the face mask into a mixing bowl. The quantity will depend on how much slime you wish to make, but a good starting point is about half a cup.

Step 2: Activate the Slime

Dissolve borax in water to create a borax solution. The recommended ratio is approximately 1 teaspoon of borax per 1 cup of water. Gradually add small amounts of the borax solution to the slime mixture, stirring continuously. Add the borax solution slowly, keep stirring until the slime begins to pull away from the sides of the bowl.

Start by emptying the contents of your peel-off mask into a bowl.

In my video, I add a few pumps of lotion and foam soap but these are completely not necessary.

Add food coloring if you like.

and mix.

Begin to add your pre-made activator a little bit at a time, mixing after each addition until your slime comes together and is no longer sticky.

Step 3: Mix in Daiso Clay

Now, it’s time to introduce Daiso clay to the mixture to achieve the butter slime texture. Daiso clay is known for its smooth and stretchy properties, making it an ideal ingredient for butter slime. Add the Daiso clay to the slime mixture and knead it thoroughly until well incorporated. The clay will give the slime its signature buttery feel and help to enhance its stretchiness.

Mix the clay into your slime until it is fully incorporated.

Step 4: Store and Enjoy

After you’ve finished kneading your butter slime to perfection, transfer it to an airtight container for storage. Properly stored, your slime can last for several weeks, providing hours of sensory fun whenever you need a little relaxation or stress relief. Pull it out whenever you need a break and enjoy the satisfyingly smooth and stretchy sensation of your homemade butter slime.

Creating butter slime without glue is not only possible but also incredibly fun.. By using peel-off face mask as a base ingredient, mixing in Daiso clay, and activating it with borax, you can craft a unique slime that is both silky smooth and wonderfully stretchy.

So gather your supplies and unleash your creativity with this innovative twist on the classic slime-making experience. Your hands will thank you for the buttery bliss that awaits!
