You can watch me make fluffy slime in the video below where I detail the steps to make the ultimate Fluffy Slime!

The first step is to decide which activator you will be using for your slime. See below to choose your method. If you choose the borax method, mix your activator, and let’s get started!

Step 1: Mix all of the ingredients together

Mix Glue, Shaving Cream, Foam Soap, Lotion and Baby Oil together in a large bowl. Stir the mixture gently to combine all the ingredients, ensuring that everything is evenly distributed throughout the mixture. Shaving cream is what gives fluffy slime its light and airy texture, so don’t be afraid to add a little extra for extra fluffiness!

Glycerin can also be used in place of baby oil for this recipe.

Mix up all the ingredients.

Step 2: Activate the Slime

Now it’s time to activate the slime mixture to give it the right consistency. There are several options for slime activators, including borax solution, liquid starch, or saline solution.

Choose whichever activator you prefer and add it gradually to the slime mixture, stirring continuously. Add the activator slowly until the slime starts to pull away from the sides of the bowl and is no longer sticky. Be careful not to add too much activator, as it can make the slime too stiff

As you add your activator, about a teaspoon at a time, make sure you mix, mix mix. Slime can have a sort of delayed activation and it is very easy to over-activate by adding too much.

Step 3: Knead and Play

Once the slime has come together, it’s time to get your hands in on the fun! Remove the slime from the bowl and knead it with your hands to further incorporate all the ingredients and achieve the perfect fluffy texture. As you knead and stretch the slime, you’ll feel the satisfyingly light and airy consistency that makes fluffy slime so irresistible.

Your slime should look like this once activated. If your slime feels a little tough, you can always add a little more lotion or even a little water and knead. Otherwise, let the slime rest for a few minutes and it should soften up a little bit.

Step 4: Store and Enjoy

After you’ve finished playing with your fluffy slime, store it in an airtight container to keep it fresh and prevent it from drying out. Properly stored, your fluffy slime can last for several weeks, but keep in mind, any slime with shaving cream as an ingredient, deflates super fast!
